We start the visit to Venice with the Vaporetto, which takes us through the Grand Canal, navigating in front of famous buildings such as Fondaco dei Turchi, the market and the Rialto Bridge, the Palazzo Grassi and Ca´ Rezzonic or Ponte dell´Accademia. We disembark at the famous Piazza San Marco.

The Doge´s Palace (Palazzo Ducale), located at the eastern end of the St Mark´s Square, is a symbol of glory and power of Venice. Gothic style building, its two most visible facades look towards the lagoon of Venice and the Piazza San Marco.
San Polo is the smallest of the six sestieri of Venice, with an area of thirty-five hectares along the Grand Canal. It is one of the oldest parts of the city, having settled before the ninth century.
